Working on a new Outro Sequence

Lots of vloggers and other content creators on YouTube have pretty decent outro videos. I tried slapping one on my videos a few vids back, but ended up dropping it because it wasn’t very impressive and took extra time to produce. I don’t think there’s much I can do about that, doing one will always take extra time, but at least if I spend the time on it, I want to feel proud about it.

So that brings me to where I am now. I’ve been working on a new outro sequence and, while it’s fairly simple, I think it’s got just the right artistic quality to it. I can’t take all the credit for it, as I did have a few friends look at it and give me their feedback. I’m not the most artistic person in the world. 🙂 Any who, here’s a screenshot of what’s to come:

Still working on a few things, but I think it’ll more or less look like the screenshot above. You can see, I’ve got all the key elements in there, the big “thank you”, a stage for the previous video, and a plea to potential likers and subscribers to, please do so! I’ve also got all of my social media links to the right… well, at least the social media that I want to be public. (I’m keeping Facebook to myself and my friends.) One thing that’s hard to tell from the screenshot above is the background video. It’s the same video featured in the “previous video” stage, but it’s larger, and grayed out. This gives the whole thing a neat effect.

Expect this new outro to go live in my next vlog, which I think will probably be about my upcoming 4 day snowboarding trip to Tremblant, Canada!
